- Are very hard and can cause serious injury if thrown.

- It’s not a frisbee
- Do not stick inside a fan, washing machine or dryer
- Most are made of metal and plastic – Do not let your child chew on these things

How To Protect Yourself And Your Children While Playing Handling A Fidget Spinner
Always be sure to monitor your child as they play with a fidget spinner. You know your child better than anyone does. Keep an eye on them and make sure that they are just spinning the spinner. If you see your child tweaking with the fidget spinner in any way. Take it examine it make sure there is no funny business going on. Then from that observation, you can do one of two things. Those being you can throw it away and replace them with another one. Or you could give it back to them if there was nothing wrong with it as far as your eyes could see.
If your child owns a fidget spinner and you wash their clothes. It will benefit you and your bank account to check the pockets of all clothing items with pockets on them for not only fidget spinners but anything else they may have in there. I don’t know if you’ve ever had a fidget spinner in your washing machine. But I have and that little thing caused a lot of damage and resulted in me and my wife getting a new washing machine.
Many children see a fidget spinner and assume that it can be tossed in the air and it will float like a frisbee. That is not the case at all and if another child or person is in the area once a child flings one of these things and it so happens to hit you or someone in the face. You will have a mark to show the next day. Fidget spinners aren’t soft toys. In fact, they are almost indestructible in most cases.
If you have a small child they may think that they can spin on the fidget spinner. So they take the spinner place it on the floor and attempt to stand on it and spin. Well, what could potentially happen is that they are either going to twist an ankle or tear a ligament and you don’t want either of those incidents to take place so be mindful of that. This goes back to monitoring the child and making sure that they are just spinning it in their hands.
The last point I want to speak on is that fidget spinner can and have been turned into weapons. Do not let your children place sharp objects onto/into the spinner. They can cause serious harm. If your child has a fidget spinner it is ideal that you examine it frequently. Just to make sure it’s still just a toy. Most of the fidget spinners I’ve seen that kids have altered. Usually, have sharp objects added on the edges of the spinner to resemble a ninja star. Some of them looked very intriguing I must admit. But they have no business being in the hands of a child.
You now have the ins and outs of a fidget spinner. It is good to know about the positives of owning one. But it doesn’t hurt to know the bad and potentially harmful things that could arise.
This is fidget spinner safety and should be taken seriously.
